WELCOME to our Clean Hands for Schools Campaign
Whether you are a head teacher, school nurse, dinner assistant, bursar, school governor, parent, administrator, teacher or pupil you can make a real difference to improving your schools health.

Each year many of your children and staff will become ill from ‘Germs’, in extreme cases some schools have even closed down because of these infectious bugs. This site is aimed at giving you vital information on Hand Care and how this will help you reduce illnesses and absenteeism.

There are four key areas that we have identified:

• Hand Washing
• Hand Drying
• Hand Sanitising
• Kitchen Hygiene

In each section we give you important facts, good practices and advice based on our knowledge and experience and how you can achieve the best results for your school. There are a mass of activities to download freely to make this a fun and enjoyable way of highlighting a basic but important topic.
